On January 1 st, 2001, East Williams, West Williams, McGillivray Townships, along with the town of Parkhill (which was previously located in the historic West Williams Township), were amalgamated to become known as present day Municipality of North Middlesex. McGillivray – On January 1 st, 1863, McGillivray Township was detached from Huron County and became part of Middlesex County. NOTE: This does not include the City of London. London Township – On January 1 st, 1998, Delaware Township, Lobo Township and London Township were combined to form Middlesex Centre.
